Always check with your pediatrician Ashley- you can also ask about the prune juice etc remember always to dilute though! Seems like you're a very good mother from the start and keep up the good work ! God Bless you and your new baby!

Thanks, Karl. Will follow your advice. What are your thoughts about taking it again in June. Not sure how much time can go into preparing but do you think it is worth a try..... OR....should he try the ACTs? He will definitely take again in October, but should we try June also.

Hi Cena,

Your son should stay the course and continue to practice and watch the ePrep videos. The ePrep math tests were designed to be mildly more difficult than the actual SAT, so don't give up hope yet.

Again, your son simply needs to continue his preparation efforts. In the event he does not achieve his maximum potential this Saturday, I suggest he work over the summer and take the test again in the fall. My experience is that most students do not crush the SAT on the first try.

Good luck.

Hi Karl.

I need your help. My son is a jr in hs and will be sitting for the SATs for the first time this weekend. He is not a good standardized test taker and has been practicing the eprep tests mostly math(for the past 5 weekson a somewhat regular basis) and not doing well even after listening to the video clips. His scores are in mid 500s and occassionally high 400s. Score does not seem to get better. What advice can you offer to help him improve his scores. I am wondering if he is able to get above the mid 500 (or at least consistently score in that range) for now. I am frustrated and am sure he is too. Your advice is needed--what can he do to get the scores up. He is a B+ student. It seems like a lot of the students posting here are high scorers. Thx.
