Nakul,

You should prepare and take the SAT1 again in December. No doubt. If you don't, you'll always wonder, "What if I had taken them again?" I really think that an ePrep course will help you break 2000. You may want to start with the free trial. Good luck. Hope to hear from you again soon.

Hi Karl,
i have already contacted you in another blog but i think that this blog is more appropraite....

i have already given my SAT1 and i got a 1930(760-math,600-writing,570-reading)
my school grades are really good and i am the best at math adn accounts.i am also a member of my soccer team for 7 years.
i gave my SAT2 math 1c in june and got a 700 as i didnt get a good nights sleep the day before and therefore i messed up my timing and left 9 questions.....therefore i was pretty satisfied with my score...
i am giving math 1c and 2c on the june sat test date and i am pretty confident of getting close to 800.however,i will not be able to give biology on that day as i also have to study for my school exams...
therefore,i will be giving my biology sat2 on the november test date...
now, seeing the scenario,i could give sat1 on the december test date but my councelor here in india suggest i should not as she doesnt tink that my scores would increase by that much....but honostly speaking,i know that i can get my sat1 score to a 2000 but not much above that....
at this moment, i am very worried and concerned and i really need your help as im really confused as to which direction i should go..

Thanking you
Nakul

Your scores are excellent, Gabriel. If you have solid grades and some interesting extracurricular activities, you will have a good chance at a school like Brown. (If you are at all interested in studying math, science, or engineering as an undergraduate, you should include that interest in your application. Many schools have a difficult time recruiting women for their math, science, and engineering programs. What I'm trying to say is that you'll probably increase your chances of being admitted by Brown, if you indicate a strong interest in majoring in one of these fields of study.) Good luck.

Hi Karl,
I have already taken the SAT scores, and the outcome was a 2100: 780 M, 670 W, 650 V. Is that a good score for an international student? I would really love to go to Brown, but I know it is a highly selective school. By the way, I am from Brazil, and English is my second language.
Do you think my scores can get me somewhere like Brown?

Ebuka,

Your scores are incredible! I am very happy for you. I honestly think that your scores and background will combine to get you into at least a couple of Ivy League colleges. (I assume your school grades are awesome as well.)

When you get a chance, try ePrep's free trial and see how you do. I would be interested to know.

Good luck.

Zuka,

You are an international student "who" didn't know what . . .

Thanks for the comments. Don't worry about the spelling errors. We all make them from time to time.

Thanks also for your email to ePrep's customer care. I just responded to it, so you should have it by now.

Please do not hesitate to contact us via the blog or customer care with follow-up questions or comments. Columbia and NYU are terrrific schools, by the way. I am glad you are aiming high.

Good luck. Hope to hear from you again soon.
