It is designed to measure, among other things, how well you can apply the things you have learned in school to new situations.  The ACT, on the other hand, is know as an achievement test.  It is designed, for the most part, to measure how well you have learned the things traditionally taught in school.</description>

		<description>I agree.  There were a lot of problems on the PSAT that didn&#039;t seem like the stuff we&#039;ve covered and practiced in school.  Why don&#039;t they just test us on the stuff we learn in school?</description>
