What is it like to get a perfect score on the SAT?...

To echo Christopher Lin, the moment I found out, it was amazing - pure unadulterated disbelief/joy. I literally fell out of my chair and rolled on the ground the moment I saw this on the computer screen: > Critical Reading: 800 Math: 800 Writing: 800 A...

How many SAT Subject Tests do most students generally take? Is it true that the more SAT Subject Tests you take, the better? As well, if you take the SATs in grade 11, what about all the grade 12 subjects that you still need to learn?
Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my question(I'm a Canadian student so I don't recieve alot of info about the SATs).

Ya Im sorry to say but I'm pretty positive that, that one wasn't the experimental section, cause I only had 3 reading sections and one of them was the same as the two passages that you are talking about.
Hope this helps,
Mitch

HI! I just took the SATs today and was wondering which was the experimental..
I know my experimental was a reading section, (i had four.)
I did horrible on one of them and was totally thrown off balance. The questions seemed odd, and the passages were confusing. The one that I "hope" is the experimental had two passages, one about gossip (oral vs. written) and one about gardening, how plants and insects both benefit from each other and what not.
I REALLY hope that section was the experimental because I was totally baffled!

Bryan, I don't like to be the bearer of bad news, but there is nothing you can do. You will simply have to be more careful next time. The College Board will not entertain a request for help like the one you proposed.

I feel bad. Keep your head up.

Hey i just took the SATs today, and i think i messed up on the multiple choice. I might've skipped a question or something, and i ended up with 24 bubbles filled in when there was only 23 questions. What im trying to say is i think i messed up in the beginning and now that entire section is wrong. Is there any way i can call collegeboard and ask them if i can fix my work
? any help would be appreciated, im freaking out! Please get back to me ASAP

Vincent,

It is very likely that the writing section that gave you trouble actually was the experimental section. I don't think mental fatigue had anything to do with it. (Just my humble opinion.)

Good luck.

Quinn,

I am 99% sure that the more difficult grid-in section was the experimental one.

Good luck.

Tiffany,

It depends. If you ultimately addressed a topic other than the one assigned, you will get a zero. If you merely tweaked the given topic, which is permitted, you will likely receive a relatively low score.

Good luck.

Hi, I think I really messed up on the SAT essay portion of the exam. The prompt was asking me something specifically but since I knew nothing about what they were asking me, I kind of broadened the question a bit, so I could answer with things that I were familiar with. The essay was only 3 paeagraphs since I was shocked for the first 5 minutes of the essay. Do you think I'll get a 0 or will the score just be extremely low?
