Karl,

Okay then, thank you so much for your response and input. I'll definitely work hard in the days to come to maxamize my score and my attempt to get into my dream University. Thank you.

Oh, and your welcome btw. Glad to participate in the Alpha Test for your new "ePrep for the SAT" course. Your videos are very informative and I learn a lot from them.

I just have one quick question; did you already send out Test #7 via e-mail yet? If you did, I don't think I got it. The last message I got from you was titled "ePrep for the SAT Alpha Test", so I'm not sure if you sent it out yet or not. :O

Keep up the good work! This site is by far one of the best preperation websites I've seen today.

Thanks for responding so quickly. It sounds like you're very busy. I'm obviously disappointed. School starts mid-August, and I'm running cross-country and taking 2 AP math classes. I'm also in National Honor society, Superintendent Student Advisory Council, Student Council, Band, and PEERS mentoring for sex education in our middle schools. I was really hoping to help with your alpha testing while also using my free time this summer to constructively study for the SAT. I've checked into other programs in our area...the Midwest, and Kaplan is in a nearby city, but conflicts with my cross schedule. So if you can't reconsider, do you have any advice for how I can make the most out of the last four weeks of my summer. I have several books that I'm trying to get through, but they don't really fit my learning style... Again thanks for your consideration, Lauren

Dear Lauren,

Thank you for your interest in ePrep and thank you for your kind words. Unfortunately, we are no longer enrolling students in the alpha test.

FYI, the full-product should be available by the middle of August. Until then, keep doing as much on your own as possible. Good luck.

P.S. It sounds like you are on track to get into the college of your choice.

My mom has been researching all of the SAT sites, and she likes this one the best. She's a math teacher. I took the demo test and liked the way you explained the questions and answers in video format. I plan to take the SAT for the second time in October. I really need to improve my scores. I'm first in my class, but the SAT scores don't reflect that. I would love to participate in your alpha test of ePrep for the SAT. I find the videos to be geared to my age level, and not dry and boring like most of the SAT 1000 pages self-help books out there. I think that I would be very good at giving constructive criticism on what works for most students. Please consider me as a serious candidate to help test your alpha version of ePrep for the SAT.... I would love to start as soon as possible......Thanks Lauren

Maha,

I wouldn't worry too much about the spring SAT scores. Just focus your efforts on preparing for the October exam. Thanks for agreeing to participate in the alpha test of ePrep for the SAT, by the way. You should have received an email earlier in the week with practice tests and login information. As you complete the test, I think a lot of your questions will be answered. (FYI, I am going to do some videos on the essay soon.)

If you have questions that are not content related, please post them again. There have been so many posts lately, and I've been so busy with the alpha test, that I have had a hard time keeping track of them all. I hope you understand.

I was wondering if you happened to look at my post a couple of days back, Karl. ;) Please, please let me know if I'm asking for too much.

I hope I'm not being much of a nuisance here.

Thanks,

Maha

Hey Karl,

You asked me to give you reminders so here I am! Have you looked at any of my posts so far or thought about my questions? Sorry for having to post like this. ^^;

Allan Pan,

Well, I was born in another country, but I guess I've been here long enough to speak english fluently. It isn't my first language though.

Actually, that would be nice. I've always wanted to study the SAT along with a group or a partner. I'm not entirely sure though, since I'm not allowed to talk/chat to online people.

Thanks though.

Hello Maha

Are you a non-native English speaker (like me)?
I just think maybe we could study SAT together on a message board or something since you are also going to take the October SAT right? I am going to take it for my second SAT score too.

best regards

In addition to my last comment, I was wondering if you have any motivational tips to keep me studying throughout the summer. I AM studying, but just not hard enough. I know I've asked you this question before, but I guess it's hard for me to study efficiently in the summertime (even though I know that about a billion other high schoolers like me are probably doing the same thing!).

There are 90 days left until my exam, so I'd better shape up!

By the way Karl, I tested out the new e-prep demo course you had for all three sections - and I must say it is fantastic! I learned a lot of new vocabulary words and their meanings just by watching your videos in the CR section (I wrote them down!) and I learned some things for the writing section as well, which is great because - even though the writing section is my strongest point - I often get bored and confused when I read up on grammer usage, sentence structure, verbs, etc. Your videos make this process a lot more interesting. Now I finally know why something like "sarah and me" sometimes is an appropriate use in grammer!

I look forward to seeing the full-blown e-prep course soon! It might just help me along with my SAT prep.

Looking to hear from you soon,

Maha
